In restoration and remodeling work LD Watkins uses the lead carpenter system and believes in assigning the project to one experienced in-house employee from start to finish. This increases ownership of the project and insures that dedicated employee will monitor the job closely.
LD Watkins remains heavily involved in the project management, maintaining a culture and focus on each restoration project for timely completion of the scope of work and an excellent customer experience. Owner Les Watkins will visit every restoration project at the initial start of the claim to insure the detailed insurance estimate is completed and will also ensure successful project close out. LD Watkins’ restoration process is as follows:
• Timely response to inspect and document damaged property with photos
• Develop project scope and project budget
• Pre-construction and project start up
• Ensure customer knows the scope of repair
• Hand off to Lead Carpenter
• Develop project Gantt schedule
• Weekly site visit and progress inspection
• Scope follow thru
• Validate payment to subcontractors and suppliers
• Project close out
• Customer walk through
